9-month Check up & Visitors!

Zane had his 9-month checkup over the weekend. Everything checked out A-ok for him. The doc and nurses asked a bunch of questions about his development, and we were able to respond in the positive for all but one. So far Zane has shown little interest in waving "bye-bye." Not a big deal they said. It's just something they use to measure.

So things look good for the little guy. And more importantly it means Court & I haven't screwed him up yet!

So here are the vitals:

Height: 29 inches
Weight: 19lbs, 10ozs
Head: 19 inches
Feet: He now wears socks that say they are for 1-2 year olds.
Hair: Getting blonder each day, and now needs a haircut (or at least a trim to calm down his "ear comb over")

The only downside of the doctor visit was he had to get a shot. BOO!!! But the semi-good news was that he was supposed to get TWO, but the nurses decided one was the way to go. Yea? And then the nurses decided to replace the second shot with a hemoglobin blood test. BOO!!! But it is a painless prick on the heel of the foot, so no worries. YEA!!! And the test came back "all-good," which meant his blood had sufficient amounts of iron in it.




But things got better for the Z-man. Ooma (I call her 'mom') came to visit from Wichita. and if that wasn't good enough, Zane's best friend Chase tagged along. One thing is for certain, Zane LOOOOOOOOVES Chase!
