Zane feeds himself.

Yeah, it's as messy as you thought it would be.

As is par for the course, I thought of something fun for Zane to do...while I took pictures.

I was feeding Zane the other night and we were getting near the end of his sweet potatoes, rice cereal, and water mixture when I thought it would be fun to let him take control of the spoon.

He did pretty good actually. I would put a small bit of sweet potatoes on the spoon, put it in his hand, and let him try to put the spoon in his mouth. He hit his mouth, nose, forehead, cheek, bib, etc.
